Description:
* Morton Salt is seeking an experienced Reliability Engineer for our facility in Rittman, Ohio.
* The Reliability Engineer originates and develops analysis methods and processes for determining reliability of equipment. This includes acquiring and analyzing data, identifying bad actors and making and implementing action plans for improvements.
Job Summary:
* Originates and develops analysis methods for determining reliability of equipment, and processes. Acquires and analyzes data, identifying bad actors and making and implementing action plans for improvements
Major Job Accountabilities And Responsibilities:
* Providing Leadership in Support of the Safety Journey and the Company’s Goal of Achieving an Injury-Free Workplace
* EHS, MOC, GMP, and Q.C. Compliance
* meeting business targets in area of responsibility
* providing Supervision, Leadership and coaching to employees in area of responsibility
* Ensures adherence to standard work processes (MEWP), including Integrated Manufacturing System / 21st Century Manufacturing (IMS / 21stCM).
* Establishes and ensures achievement of all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
* Acts as a technical resource for production supervisors and engineers and craft people for maintenance and reliability issues.
* Creates, implements, and monitors predictive maintenance and on-condition maintenance programs.
* Develops, prioritizes and implements reliability projects.
* Implements and tracks Key Reliability Performance Indicators (e.g., Mean Time Between Repair).
* Makes reliability recommendations to Process and Maintenance Engineers based on data analysis
* Accountable & Responsible for Reliability Engineering Design on required equipment / parts or components
* Implements projects based on reliability studies generated through the bad actors identification.
* Accountable/Responsible for developing criteria for bad actors, identifying / revising bad actors, and implementing action plan for bad actors
* Accountable/Responsible for identifying needs for RCA (Root Cause Analysis), conducting RCAs and FMEAs
Responsibilities:

* Procedure Development/Documentation
* to assist Controling Maintenance Costs
* Impacting Equipment Uptime
* Equipment Care Program
* People Development, Training, and Competencies
* Minimizing Maintenance Costs
* Impacting OAU
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
* Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field
* Master’s Degree preferred
* Minimum five (5) years of experience operating in a maintenance environment.
* Supervisory experience preferred.
* Experience with Data Stream Information preferred
* Vibration analysis level 2 preferred
* SAP experience a plus
