Position Overview:
Reporting to the Senior Accountant, this 12 month contract position provides financial support to site management in order to achieve business and operational objectives.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Ÿ Month end reporting
Ÿ Year end reporting
Ÿ General ledger reconciliations
Ÿ Gold room duties
Ÿ Prepare and present financial reports for cost reviews
Ÿ Accounts Payable Support when required
Ÿ Maintaining Asset register
Ÿ Capital budgeting and forecasting
Requirements:
Ÿ Accounting/Commerce Degree
Ÿ Previous experience within a similar role
Ÿ Completed or in the process of completing CA/CPA accreditation
Ÿ Sound computer literacy
Ÿ Strong communication both verbal and written
Ÿ Problem solving ability combined with good analytical skills
