A global leader in the field of infrastructure solutions, this organisation provides a wide range of multidisciplinary solutions for the transport of oil, gas, water, electricity and data.
This role is responsible for the end to end management of finance and administration on the project site, managing and supervising staff. The incumbent must be committed to working on site (12 hour shifts) on a project rotation roster. Roster will vary but is often 28 days on, 9 days off with accommodation provided on site.
Key responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
* Identify finance and administrative staff requirements for each project and undertake recruitment activities as requested
* Ensure project cost control systems/ processes are implement/managed effectively
* Undertake procurement activities
* Ensure cost reporting is completed within guidelines and timeframes
* Maintain various registers (ie project asses / insurance / plant internal / external charge rates) to ensure accurate and up to date information
* Office / Camp management
To be successful, you must have the following:
* Strong financial background, particularly in managing budget and financial reporting / analysis
* Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
* Demonstrated ability to establish effective communication channels
* Superior organisational and people / conflict management skills
* Excellent IT skills (advanced MS Excel knowledge together with a strong understanding of financial systems)
* Proven initiative and follow up skills
* Experience in project management / site experience
Previous experience in an isolated construction environment coupled with your tertiary qualifications in Accountancy / Business Studies will be advantageous to this role!

The successful person will clearly demonstrate a strength of character in order to successfully manage a diverse group of demanding contractors and direct reports in often remote and difficult environments.
