Senior Recruiter-SBC

Responsibilities to include: build & maintain relationships that promote Barrick in the mining industry; screen and interview candidates; coordinate post employment offer & new hire activities; utilize the recruiting database & train hiring managers on use of system; manage the Barrick North America immigration process; manage recruiting communications including print & radio advertising, social media career fair displays, & handouts; manage the relocation program; oversee the summer student program; attend college career fairs & recruiting events; oversee, coordinate & recruit for the internship program; conduct DDI interview training, assist with & carry out long term recruitment strategy; participate & contribute to region human resources projects as necessary.
SELECTION CRITERIA
BASIC REQUIREMENTS: To be considered for this job, applicants must meet these basic requirements:
* Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
* PHR preferred.
* 5+ years of experience in a high volume recruiting function or HR generalist position preferred.
* Professional level recruiting experience preferably with technical professionals (Engineers, Accountants, Information Systems)
* Experience with applicant tracking database systems & Microsoft office products preferred.
* Mining industry familiarity is helpful
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Strong work ethic and excellent relationship building and negotiating skills
* Ability to cooperate effectively with all levels of management and staff
