We are currently seeking an individual in the role of:
Recruiter
Reporting to the Recruitment Supervisor, you will be responsible for recruitment for staff and hourly positions.
Responsibilities:
* Develops, implements, and maintains computer based recruitment tools, including online tracking systems, posting and advertising, job descriptions, interview profiles and questions, screening criteria, selection documentation, applicant correspondence, job offer letters, and reports as needed
* Sort and categorize applications, conduct prescreens and schedule interviews
* Conduct interviews and adhere to selection guidelines pertaining to entry level recruitment
* Coordinate pre-employment requirements as needed, including reference checks, drug and medical exams
* Ensures agency recruitment procedures and processes are followed
* Responsible for development and posting of employment advertisements including newspapers and online advertisement mediums
* Assist in the coordination of career fairs, industry events and campus recruitment
* Other various recruiting activities and office administration as required
* Ensures recruitment activities are carried out in compliance with regulations and laws
Qualifications:
* Recruitment or Human Resources experience is preferred
* Business degree or diploma is considereed a strong asset
* Strong problem solving, organizational and interpersonal skills
* Ability to operate with very high levels of integrity and confidentiality
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must
