Electrical Engineer – Mining

We are currently seeking competent Electrical Engineers with design experience across a broad scope (electrical and control systems) preferably from a mining or heavy industry background. If you are seeking a new and challenging opportunity that offers career progression and development then please read on.

Your role will predominately be the design of small to medium projects and upgrades on site, this could be replacement of switchgear, control systems for air control, fans or upgrades on conveyors.

You will need to be a versatile engineer who has experience with:

• •Electrical LV to HV – 11kV
• •Motor Control Centres
• •Variable Speed Drives
• •Distributed Control Systems (DCS)
• •Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC)

A Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering is essential along with a minimum of three years hands on work experience. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are a necessity.

You will be required to relocate, and generous assistance is on offer for the successful candidate. This remote location in central QLD is ideal for families and has all of the necessary day to day living requirements, including schools, shops, banks and recreational places.
