This international gold producer has well established gold mines throughout Australia with a multitude of exciting projects in the pipeline.

They therefore have superior technical and logistical knowledge in relation to effective resourcing and processing within the gold mining industry.

They have an outstanding reputation in relation to their safety, performance and culture within the organisation and are now looking for a Senior Reliability Engineer to join their team
.

Role

Reporting to the Asset Management Manager you will be responsible for the delivery of mechanical engineering capabilities to foster and promote continuous improvement in safety, environment, cost and production outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Ensure mechanical standards and specifications are defined and  communicated
• Analyse performance data, downtime records, incidents etc
• Participate in and facilitate BI initiatives
• Provide training, development coaching to maintenance teams
• Participate productively as part of the Engineering Leadership Team
• Management of section budget and cost controls
• Ensuring safety practices are adhered to

Skills and experience

• Mechanical Engineering Degree
• Extensive mining experience in a similar role
• Safety first attitude
• Strong analytical, planning and problem solving skills
• Good communication skills
• CMMS, preferably SAP experience
• Supervisory experience

In return for your input and energy you will be rewarded with a base salary between $165,000 – $170,000 including superannuation and bonuses.
